As an environmentally conscious rental company, it is important to us to use our resources responsibly. For this reason, we have decided to regard the environment and sustainability as an integral part of our understanding of hospitality. This is why we are registered as a business with the Austrian Ecolabel. We are constantly endeavouring to keep our employees and ourselves up to date on environmental issues and to further develop our business in this respect.
We offer our guests an environmentally conscious holiday in our house and are pleased that our house rules for an environmentally friendly holiday are adhered to. With this in mind, we look forward to helping our guests enjoy an unforgettable holiday with a clear conscience.
Our house is located on the outskirts of Altenmarkt im Pongau in a very quiet and pleasant residential area. It is about 800 metres from the town centre and can be easily reached by local bus. The nearest bus stop is around 200 metres from the house. The local bus connects all important stations in the village and its surroundings every half hour or hour. The railway station is around 1.5 km from the house and is also served by the local bus.
You can easily reach us by train using public transport.
You can find the current timetable and booking options at https://fahrplan.oebb.at. Via www.gepackkurier.de you can conveniently collect your luggage from home and have it delivered to our hotel. You can also have it picked up again when you leave. This means you can travel independently and conveniently by public transport.
If you are visiting us by car, you can prepare your journey conveniently at www.oeamtc.at/routenplaner. We provide a charging station for electric vehicles directly at the hotel.
We recommend that you book your charging times with us in advance by text message.
The nearest airports to our holiday home are Salzburg and Munich.
From Salzburg you can book a hire car or take the airport transfer directly to us.
From Munich you can continue your journey directly by train or book a hire car on site.
Our chalet flats were built according to the principle of accessibility. Almost all flats are fully equipped for the disabled. We are also happy to cater to your special wishes. We look forward to hearing from you so that we can cater for your special needs in advance.
Most of our household appliances are barrier-free and meet our sustainability standards.
To enable our guests to arrive individually at any time of day or night, we have opted for an electronic access system. You will receive an electronic access code on your mobile phone before your arrival, which you can then use to check into your flat with ease.
In the interests of sustainability, we minimise the use of paper in our day-to-day office work. For this reason, we use an electronic booking system that enables us to create quotations and invoices electronically.

Our energy supply is a central element of our sustainability concept. By using a modern air source heat pump, we reduce our carbon footprint and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere without harming the environment. Our photovoltaic system on the roof generates clean, green electricity, which we use to cover our own needs while actively reducing our fuel requirements. We also obtain our additional electricity exclusively from renewable sources.
In our flats and throughout the building, we attach great importance to waste avoidance and waste separation in order to promote recycling and sustainable disposal. We have installed water-saving systems for fresh water extraction according to ecological standards in every flat in order to minimise the consumption of natural resources. These measures illustrate our endeavours to reduce the ecological footprint of our guests and to promote responsible use of the resources entrusted to us.
Purchasing regional products is an important aspect of our commitment to sustainability. Wherever possible, we source our goods locally to shorten transport distances and further reduce our carbon footprint. We only use LED lighting throughout the building. Motion detectors and timers are integrated to avoid unnecessary power consumption.
We also guarantee outstanding cleanliness in accordance with ecological standards. All cleaning agents and detergents in our flats are ECO-certified to minimise environmental impact. Our staff are highly trained in environmental protection and accessibility, which is guaranteed throughout the hotel and can be adapted to the needs of each guest.
